Antonio font is a sans serif font which is designed by Vernon Adams that is a reworking of a traditional advertising sans serif typeface.
The letterforms have been digitized and then reshaped for use as a web font, the counters have been opened up a little and the stems optimized for use as a bold display font in modern web browsers.
The designer Vernon adam practiced typeface design from 2007 to 2014. A lifelong artist, during this time he eagerly explored designing types for the cloud-based era.
Vernon’s work spans all genres, from lively script faces to workhorse text families and operating system UI. Vernon graduated with an MA in Typeface Design from the University of Reading and lives in California.
Antonio Font Family
Antonio is a ‘refined’ version of the Anton Font. Anton is a single-weight web font, designed specifically for larger display, headline, and ‘banner’ use.
Antonio extends the Anton design to include more weights and introduces refinements to the design that makes it also suitable for use in smaller headings, menus and ‘buttons’ etc.
This fine quality font has come in seven styles including Thin, Extra Light, Light, Regular, Medium, Semi-bold, and Bold, all of these styles have 109 Glyphs.
The designs are mostly published as open-source Google Fonts and Vernon’s favorite projects include Oxygen Mono, Monda, and Bowlby One.
